Orient Pearl Nights – Assi Al Hallani featuring PAVO

A sensational night of music, rhythm, and fun awaits you at the Orient Pearl Night this time featuring legendary performer Assi Al Hallani and singer PAVO. The electrifying atmosphere is sure to keep you intrigued. The ticket prices are inclusive of set dinner menu and drinks.

‘Music from the coronation’ A Celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III

Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra in association with the British Embassy to the State of Qatar is hosting a musical celebration on the occasion of the new king’s coronation. The concert  commemorates the crowning of Hi Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla with some beautiful traditional and contemporary music.

Date: May 4, 2023

Timings:  7.30 pm onwards

Location: Auditorium 3, Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC)

Torba Farmer’s Market

Don’t miss out on the fun and frolic at Torba Farmer’s Market, Qatar’s first and only such market. Shop for local produce, homegrown businesses, local artisan products, books, cloud kitchen, and more. You will also find a host of different activities for families and children to enjoy the lovely vibes of the marketplace.

Date: May 6, 2023 (every Saturday)

Timings:  5 pm – 11 pm

Location: Education City

Access: Free for all

Wanda Diamond League Doha 2023 

The Wanda Diamond League Doha 2023 is packed with adrenaline as some of the best world athletes compete for league titles. You’ll be able to witness some excellent sportsmanship, impressive athleticism, and some star athletes performing mind-boggling javelin throws, high jumps, hurdles and more.

Date: May 5, 2023

Timings:  6 pm – 9 pm

Location: Qatar Sports Club, Umm Salal SC

Cinema by the Sea at West Bay beach

What perfect way to enjoy the good weather and beachy vibes than with a night of cinema by the beach? West Bay Beach is hosting a cinema by the beach under the stars experience where you can catch Made in Qatar short films. These include ‘Emsahar’ by Hassan Al-Jahni, ‘Hope’ by Abdulla Al-Janahi, ‘Yahoota’ by Latifa Al-Darwish and Abdulaziz Yousef, ‘Khurshid’ by Mazen Shafea, and Al-Johara by Nora al-Subai.

Date: May 5, 2023

Timings:  7 pm

Location: West Bay Beach

Access: QAR 30 for adults

Free entry for children under 12 years

 

DEAP Cleanup: Al Zubarah

If you want to do your bit to be more sustainable and aid in conservation, then go ahead and participate in DEAP’s 400th beach clean-up drive. The activity is family and kid-friendly so this would be a nice way to instil some environmental consciousness in young people’s minds. More details about the clean-up are on DEAP’s Instagram.

Timings:  3.15 pm – 5.30 pm

Location: Al Zubarah

Access: Participation is free but DEAP has to be informed about the number of people wishing to attend. They will send you a confirmation message with further instructions.
