This weekend is all set to be an action packed one featuring a fun-filled day for youth, an African Night of laughter and a variety of workshops for all ages.

International Youth Day
If you are between the ages of 15 and 25, head over to the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum this Saturday to be a part of the excitement at their International Youth Day. International Youth Day will include several performances, discussions and a variety of activities designed to inspire and empower all participants. While entrance to the event is free and registrations are not needed, a museum entrance ticket will be required to enter.

Molecular Education – Mobile Phone TV
Sign up for the Molecular Education Workshop this Saturday at Msheireb Museums and expand your knowledge on molecular science. The workshop is all set to take place this Friday from 6:30 pm onwards. Entrance to the workshop is ticketed at QAR 100 and prior registrations are required.

Chess Club at QNL
Do you enjoy playing chess? Join the QNL Chess Club to learn the basics of chess, enjoy some friendly competition and make new friends. The Chess Club is free for all and is all set to take place at the Main Plaza at Qatar National Library.

African Night of Laughter
Lace up your boots and get ready for a healthy dose of laughter at the African Night starring comedians Oga Sabinus (Mr Funny) and Mammito Eunice. Performing live for the very first time in Qatar, their act will be complemented by the delightful Afrobeats of DJ Diamond and DJ Rome. Tickets for the event can be bought online via Q-tickets or at the gate. The event is open for individuals over 13 years only.

Academic Book Proposal Workshop
Planning on writing a book? Sign up for the Academic Book Proposal Workshop at Qatar National Library. The workshop will take place over two days and will provide all the necessary information, brief lessons, worksheets and more to prepare authors on the acquisition process. This workshop is excellent for scholars and early-career researchers who are working on book proposals for their first book or books that are recently conceived but not yet written. Registrations are required to attend.

Sneakers Painting Workshop
If you enjoy painting join the sneakers painting workshop conducted by Art Box Studio at Msheireb Galleria Mall. The workshop will give you the opportunity to tap into your creativity and design a pair of sneakers that would be an excellent keepsake. The workshop is ticketed at QAR 200 and you can register by dropping a DM to @artboxstudio.qa.
