METRASH2
One of the most important government apps in the country, Metrash2 is a service provided by the Ministry of Interior to simplify its services and procedures. The service is for both Qatari nationals and residents. Using the Metrash2 app, you can access 224 services including vital tasks like settling traffic violations, renewing driver’s license, renewing residence permit, setting up national address, obtaining official documentation and many more.
QL Tip: Make sure your mobile is registered under your name to download and use Metrash2 services.
KAHRAMAA
Want to pay your electricity bill using your smart phone? Then download the Kahramaa app, the official app for Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation. It provides several e-services for customers including viewing and paying your electricity and water bills. You can also submit your meter reading and send any complaints and suggestions to Kahramaa. It also provides all services related to moving in and moving out and any other required documentation.
QL Tip: Regularly track your monthly electricity and water consumption rate and bills and be alerted if you are exceeding the regular consumption.
HUKOOMI
Hukoomi is the Official Gateway to Information and Services you need to live, work or visit Qatar. The Hukoomi app lets you access the latest news from Qatar, government related information and many e-services, making it easily accessible for citizens, residents, visitors and businesses. It also makes you aware of the main public programs, events and government initiatives.
QL Tip: Use the Hukoomi directory which has contact details of various government and private entities in Qatar including charitable organizations, hospitals, embassies, banks and more.
TAWTHEEQ
The National Authentication System of the state of Qatar, Tawtheeq app offers unified access to various government e-services with the same username and password. Having a single profile to log in to the e-services, increases usability and efficiency thereby saving time and effort. The common authentication system helps the development of e-services.
QL Tip: If your mobile is not under your ownership, you will need to contact the government hotline 109 to activate your account.
TASDEEQ
An initiative of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Tasdeeq app provides a document security system that enables users to verify documents and authenticate them anytime, anywhere. It allows you to validate multiple types of documents generated by ministries or private agencies including various reports, receipts, contracts, agreements etc.
QL Tip: When scanning documents ensure they are of high print quality and the QR code is clearly visible.
OUN
Need pest control or a tree to be felled? Then Oun is the app for you. The Oun app enables you to access the services of the Ministry Of Municipality and Environment and use numerous e-services. The services provided by the Oun app includes requesting for pest control, sewage cleaning, tree trimming, car removal, rain water removal, housing complaints and personal complaints.
QL Tip: If you want to report a road problem or a car parked for a long time, just take a photo and send it to the Municipality with your comments through the Oun app.
SOOUM
The Ministry of Interior conducts periodical auctions of certain commodities like cars, boats, heavy-equipment, electronic devices and special number plates. The newly-launched Sooum app digitalizes and streamlines these auctions. The app makes participating in auctions very easy with interactive notifications, automated bidding, smart search and suggestions. You can use your Metrash2 username to login to the app.
QL Tip: Regularly check the app for the latest goods available for bidding at very reasonable pricing.
QATAR RAIL
Using public transportation, then you definitely need the Qatar Rail app on your phone. Th app gives all travel information for users of the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram. You can access maps of the metro network, find your nearest station and get all information on it. You can also plan your journey through the app, so you will know which stations to exit at and which buses to ride to your destination.
QL Tip: Pair it with the Karwa app and with a combination of rail, bus and cab, you can get around faster than just driving a car alone.
NAR’AAKOM
Get healthcare management on-the-go with the Nar’aakom app. Benefit from the many digital services of PHCC using the app. You can access services online like booking an appointment at one of the PHCC health centers, access your upcoming appointments, request to change your assigned health center or assigned family physician. You can also manage your health card by applying for a new card, checking the validity of your health card and renew it using the app

SAK
SAK is the official app of the Ministry of Justice and provides for e-services related to the registration of real estate and documentation. Through the app you can register your real estate property, transfer ownership, and handle your mortgage. You can also authenticate documents including mortgage deeds, power of attorney and sale deeds. The app is suitable for individuals, businesses, investors, and governmental agencies.
QL Tip: You need to have an account in the NAS system to use this app, so make sure you are registered on the government portal.
