Make 2018 a year to remember and try something new and different every week (or every second week if you’d rather). Here at QL we’ve compiled a list of must-tries for anyone living or staying in this wonderful country, or anywhere really, for the next few months. So here’s to February, our Health and Wellness Month!
Week 5 (7th to 13th February)
If you are the sporty kind and like to break a sweat, then this is the week for you. This year, the annual National Sports Day falls on February 13. It’s a public holiday, but people will be out in the streets in great numbers to celebrate the nation’s push for a healthy life style.
Week 6 (14th to 20th February)
If you enjoy winter sports, then things do not get any bigger than the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. The competition in Pyeongchang, South Korea, boasts of the best talents in the world and it will be a treat to watch it on TV.
Week 7 (21st to 27th February)
If you have not yet visited the world’s largest indoor dome, this week is as good as any to do it. The Aspire Academy is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. It hosted major events like the 2006 Doha Asian Games and the 2010 IAAF Indoor Athletics World Championships, among others.
Week 8 (28th February to 6th March)
Will the movie buffs among you please raise your hands? On March 4, the 90th Academy Awards will be presented to the best motion pictures of 2017 in a glittering ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. This year, expect a lot of fireworks both on and off the stage.
