Bu Fesseela Warehousing Park, conceptualised and developed by Al Asmakh Real Estate Development Company (ARDEC), is a new and forward-looking development strategically located in North Doha.  The logistics park provides small to medium enterprises (SME’s) with logistics facilities, supported and strengthened by on-site community and retail provision.

The Facilities

Warehouses:

The new logistics park, built over 500,000m3 of land, provides businesses such as manufacturers, importers, exporters, wholesalers, etc. with numerous storage options across the site.  From open yard storage to ventilated, air conditioned, chilled or frozen storage warehouses, catering for a plethora of stored goods and produce.  Each warehouse is complete with loading docks, office space, bathroom facilities and a pantry.  Ventilated warehouses and air-conditioned warehouses are also fitted with battery charging room.

  

Accommodation: 

Accommodation is of a good standard and has been developed in compliance with The State of Qatar’s local laws and regulations.  262 semi-furnished apartments (studio or 1-bedroom apartments) are available on site and come complete with their own kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom.  Accommodation blocks housing a total of 576 staff rooms are also available.  Each room is complete with its own bathroom facilities.  Shared kitchen and laundry facilities are available on every floor.  All accommodation is provided with appropriate air-conditioning provision. 

 

Retail: 

The commercial zone on-site is provided across three buildings over-looking access to the Orbital Road.  Two of the buildings house building materials outlets for industry and trade.  Supplies include bricks, glass, gypsum, wood, paint, cement, as well as tools, furniture, garden supplies, etc.  The third building houses conveniences for those living and working on site, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, ATM’s, catering establishments and other essential services. 

 

Other: 

The logistics park is a gated community that also boasts its own mosque, a community centre, recreational facilities for staff, additional parking for staff and guests, 24-hour security and CCTV surveillance, and WIFI on request. 

Bu Fesseela Warehousing Park also boasts a GSAS (Global Sustainability Assessment System) accreditation.  The GSAS accreditation is awarded for rating green buildings and infrastructure in the MENA region. 

 

The Warehousing Park is supported by Manateq Economic Zones Company and managed by Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC) under a 22-year contract.
