
Maroon 5, Katy Perry, and many more artists to perform in Qatar this December

Pop music enthusiasts in the country, hold your breath for a season full of entertainment and longlasting memories as Qatar gears up to welcome some of the biggest names in the music industry this December!
If you've already made plans for next month, you may want to shift things around to watch Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Cheb Khaled, and Maluma, among many other artists set the stage on fire amid roaring crowds.
The superstars will be coming to Qatar as part of the joint efforts of Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) and Qatar Airways (QA) to bring world-class entertainment to Qatar and make the country a top winter destination for all.
The concerts will be held under the 'Q Live' banner and will complement the prestigious football events happening in the country this year including, the Gulf Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019 tournaments.

Cheb Khaled in Qatar Live
Khaled is an Algerian musician, singer, and songwriter born in Oran, Algeria. He began recording in his early teens under the name Cheb Khaled and quickly rose to fame with some unforgettable hit numbers such as "Didi" and "Aïcha.
He is considered as one of the most famous Algerian singers in the Arab world and across the world.
Known as the "King of Rai," his 2012 album C'est la vie sold more than one million copies in the European market alone and 2.2 million copies in the Middle East and North Africa, according to The Peninsula.

Katy Perry in Qatar Live
American singer, songwriter, television personality and a leading pop icon, Katy Perry is all set to dazzle audiences with her powerful voice.
Perry rose to fame in 2008 with her second album, One of the Boys, a pop-rock record containing the single "Hot n Cold."
Her third album, Teenage Dream (2010) was her first record to top the U.S. Billboard 200.
The album became the first by a female artist to produce five number-one songs (California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Firework, E.T., and Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F., The One That Got Away) in the U.S., and the second overall after Michael Jackson's album Bad.

Maluma in Qatar Live
This 25-year-old Colombian artist has some huge titles under this belt, such as the Latin Grammy Award and two Latin American Music Awards.
Juan Luis Londoño Arias, known professionally as Maluma is considered by critics as one of the music urban artists with greater impact in Latin America.
He is more famously known for his collaborative work with Shakira for the song Chantaje, which became and worldwide hit, as well as the song “Vente pa`ca” together with the Puerto-Rican famous Ricky Martin.

Maroon 5 in Qatar Live
One of the most popular pop-rock bands from Los Angeles, Maroon 5 is set to captivate Doha audiences with a soulful, live performance.
The Grammy Award-winning band has won several accolades for their debut album Songs About Jane. Released in June 2002, the album enjoyed major chart success, going gold, platinum, and triple platinum in many countries around the world.
The group currently consists of lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton, and multi-instrumentalist Sam Farrar.
After the debut of their most recent single, Memories, the band is once again ruling over most music charts.

Under the Arab Music category, Yara and Ibrahim Dashti will perform in Qatar on December 5, while Rahma Riyad, Fahad Al Kubaisi and Omar Al Abdallat will perform on December 7 at DECC.
