But, we are back and this time around we've moved on to something even more special. We've come up with our first QL Geeks - home edition!
This special edition is not only a visual treat for collectors in Qatar but for almost anyone who has ever owned a McDonald's toy.
Watch Shaun chat with Mel Aquino, a collector in Doha. He's not just your average collector with a few fancy pieces. Mel's collection is sure to leave you in awe!
Mel who has been in Qatar for 25 years now, started building his collection from the age of 7! While majority of his collection is built from McDonald's toys, he has collectibles of Transformers, HotWheels, and Matchbox as well.
For Mel, this hobby is driven from a passion to keep his childhood memories alive. What you'll see here in this edition, is half of what Mel has stored back in the Philipines, where he hails from.
We must say, we were amazed to see Mel's collection and can't wait to see what other collectors in Doha are holding on to!
