WATCH: Some cool places to visit in Qatar this summer

Summer in Qatar sees quite high temperatures. While the heat may be challenging to deal with, particularly during peak hours, the country offers some great places to help you and your family cool down in summer. 

In this edition of QL Flashback Fridays, we remind dwellers of the country as well as those who are here on a visit to check out some enjoyable places to visit in Qatar during the hot season!

The country has plenty of attractions and awesome places that are sure to make your summer in Qatar a memorable one.

Aqua Park

Qatar's first theme park, Aqua Park Qatar offers a wide range of water sports and activities to visitors of all ages. This is a great place to head out if you're looking for some outdoor adventure and fun with friends and family.

Dukhan Beach

With its shallow waters and clean sands, this beach is the perfect one for many activities such as fishing, swimming, crabbing, etc. 

Sealine Beach Resort

One of the most popular destinations among families in Qatar, the Sealine Resort is meant for sun-seekers and adventure lovers. The resort offers an eco-friendly destination that is as exhilarating as it is tranquil and relaxing.

Katara Beach

If you're looking for some adrenaline-boosting fun, this is the place for you. It is a private beach that features an excellent variety of water sports and activities including water-skiing, waterboarding, and parasailing among others. 

Khor Al Adaid

The Khor Al Adaid, popularly known as the ‘Inland Sea', is located in the south-east of the country. With its stunning landscape, this is one of the few places in the world where the sea encroaches deep into the heart of the desert.
