Katara, also known as the Valley of Cultures, is where the elegance of the ancient days meets the lavishness of the future. It is fascinating place to visit for those interested in traditions, theatre, art and architecture.

The entire complex is built in a fusion of oriental architectural and retro-romantic style. Its name is derived from “Catara” Which was the historical name used for Qatar prior to the 18th century.

Katara has heritage centres, opera house, libraries, an amphitheatre, art galleries and other academic facilities. It offers a wide range of fancy cafes and authentic restaurants from all around the globe. It also has a private beach which covers nearly 2 km and is one of the most stunning beaches of Qatar. In this beach, you can go sailing, water skiing, parasailing, windsurfing, knee boarding, wakeboarding, boat rides, banana rides, fishing trips and hobbie cats.
