2. FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 - Qatar vs. Australia Qualifiers

Free entry, no tickets required.

Qatar will face off on home ground with Australia in the Asian Qualifiers for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019. 


3. Arabesque Brunch at Lagoon Restaurant

Where: Lagoon Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha

Date: Friday, 14 September

Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

4. FINA Swimming World Cup 2018 

Where: Hamad Equatic Centre

Dates: 13 - 15 September

Times: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

The Qatar Swimming Federation is hosting the second round of the FINA Swimming World Cup 2018 from September 13 to 15 for the seventh year in a row.

The event is the second international swimming event to be hosted by Qatar this year. 

FINA Swimming World Cup 2018 in Doha will be held on the 50 metres long course and will last three days. 

This year's FINA World Swimming Cup 2018 consists of seven rounds. The first round took place in Kazan, Russia (7 - 9 Sept.), and the second round is in Doha (13 - 15 Sept.).

The third round will be in Eindhoven, The Netherlands (28 - 30 Sept.), the fourth in Budapest, Hungary (4 - 6 Oct.), the fifth in Beijing, China (2 - 4 Nov.), the sixth in Tokyo, Japan (9 - 11 Nov.), and the seventh in Singapore (15 - 17 Nov.).

5. QRS Summer Sizzler Races

Where: Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park

Dates: Friday, 14 September

Times: 5:30 pm (10K & 5K), 5:33 pm (3K)

Price: Adults (16+) - QAR 110 for each event, QAR 300 for all 3 events.
Juniours (7 to 15) - QAR 55 for each event, QAR 150 for all 3 events.

The three races will include water stations at the start and finish lines. Each participant will receive a race bib.

Medical support and course marshals will be present. There will be public liability insurance.

Participants can expect custom designed finisher’s medals for all distances.

Tickets may be purchased at the door.

Awards will be given to:

  • The Top 3 finishers (Male/Female) in 10K, 5K and 3K.
  • The Top 3 Master's finishers (over 40s) in the 10K and 5K.
  • The Top 3 finishers (Male/Female) in 3K Primary (ages 7 - 10) and 3K Secondary (ages 11 - 15).
