Where to Watch Live Broadcast of AFC Asian Cup 2023

The highly-anticipated  opening ceremony for the AFC Asian Cup 2023 promises to be full of excitement and fun. Fans of football are geared up for the most-awaited match between Qatar and Lebanon on Friday, January 12, 2024. Nothing can beat the thrill of watching the AFC Asian Cup 2023 matches live at the stadiums. But if you haven’t got your tickets for the opening day match, don’t fret. You can still watch the match and cheer for your team surrounded by fellow fans, and that too on giant screens.

Here, we bring you a list of spots where you can watch the Opening Match on the big screen.

Fan Zone at EXPO 2023

The exclusive AFC Asian Cup 2023 fan zone will broadcast the opening match at the cultural theatre. Spectators in the fan zone will not only be able to watch the matches but also can visit the pavilions of their countries participating in the Expo. The fan experience will include fireworks, a shooting range, football matches, a miniature golf course, amazing laser shows, and lively color festivals. In addition, the International Zone will also live stream the matches on large screens. 

Old Doha Port

You can watch the opening match between Qatar and Lebanon on giant screens broadcasting the matches at the Old Doha Port. Fans can also enjoy a variety of street entertainment like roaming magicians, jugglers, mime artists, Oud players, along with caricaturists and lively shows like cotton candy shows, balloons twist shows, bubble shows, and even science shows. 

The Bistro - B12 Beach Club 

Get together with fellow football fans at the Bistro - B12 Beach Club where the official Qatar Airways fan zone for the AFC Asian Cup 2023 has been set up. The fan zone will screen the match live on big screens. There will also be freestyle football performances, fan activities and more at B12 Beach Club itself. Entry to the Fan Zone at the Bistro is free and open to all.

Barahat Msheireb

Watch the opening match live on a big screen at the Barahat Msheireb in the company of other football fans. The entire Baraha will be closed off for the public during the games and you will need to purchase an entry ticket to watch the match. Fans can also test heir football skills at stations featuring Football Bowling, Football Golf Target, and Subsoccer games for an extra charge, competing for prizes while supporting their teams on screen.

The Pearl Qatar

Experience the thrill of watching the opening match of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 live at the Pearl Qatar. The restaurants in Porto Arabia including Arabesque, Chocolate Jar, Burj Al-Hamam, Isla Mexican Kitchen, Spontini, Burger & Lobster, Tono, and Shirvan Metisse will be live streaming the matches. Enjoy the matches accompanied by great food!

West Bay Beach

Enjoy beach vibes as you cheer for your team at the West Bay Beach where you can watch live streaming of the opening ceremony. Lot of other fun activities like magic shows and face painting will also take place before the matches providing entertainment for the whole family. The West Bay Beach has an entry fees of QAR 30 for weekdays and QAR 45 for weekends. 

Hotel Park

The Hotel Park at West Bay can be your destination to experience football fever where they would be screening the match on large screens. With the many food trucks and also a variety of entertaining activities and games for both kids and adults, the Hotel Park promises to be a go-to destination for a fun match day. There will be an entry fees of QAR 30 to the Park.

900 Park

Have big fun with big screens at the 900 Park. Catch all the action of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 opening match and connect with fellow football fans. Screening of kids movies will be there before and after the matches with lots of other entertainment options too. The entry is free to 900 Park.

Mall of Qatar

Cheer your team and experience the AFC adventure at Mall of Qatar where you can watch all the matches including the highly-anticipated opening match on the giant Oasis screens. Watch a grand opening ceremony followed by the thrilling opener between Qatar and Lebanon.

The Pearl Qatar Football Arena

The Pearl Qatar Football Arena is where all the excitement is at, with an action-packed stadium atmosphere. Watch the game live on the giant screen in the outdoor amphitheater and enjoy the vibes of open-air arena.

Lagoona Mall

Heenat Salma Farm

Witness the excitement of the games in the lively Fan Zone and live screening area at the Heenat Salma Farm. Football enthusiasts, families, and thrill-seekers can immerse themselves  in an extraordinary AFC adventure by indulging in delectable farm-to-table treats, and discover hidden treasures through unique workshops and activities.

Industrial Area venues

Great news for industrial area residents as there will now be free screenings of the AFC Asian Cup matches on Thursdays and Fridays of each week, along with the much-awaited final. The matches will be screened live in 3 venues – Asian City accommodation, Barwa Baraha Industrial Area and the Barwa Workers Recreation Complex in Al Khor Industrial Area. The venues will also host various cultural activities from 4pm to 11pm.

Corner Quartier

Pearl Qatar has more than one venue for fans wanting to watch the live screening of the matches. The Corner Quartier at Qanat Quartier will broadcast the live games in a open-air seating area. Go with your squad and test your prowess at the PS5 FIFA eSports gaming station or get into the physical action with the Reaction Wall and Virtual Penalty Kick.

Marina Matchpoint
