My Long Fight with Jascon Engineering, Doha

This fight with a company Jascon Engineering in Doha began in 2014. I joined Jascon Engineering at a very low salary. I picked up the job as at that time I was looking around for work.

Jascon Engineering gave me an “Employment Offer Letter” which stated all the terms of employment. They never gave me a legalized Contract during my stay. The stay in the company was a very short one. There were just too much of ethnicity in the staff with people from Pakistani Punjab running the affairs. The Punjabis had my services terminated as they wanted a Punjabi in my place. That is what exactly took place. They gave the position over to a Punjabi with low education and almost no experience in my field of work,

When making my settlement, the company deliberately made a short-payment of QR8000. I objected. They didn’t listen. They didn’t care. I kept following up the matter through emails every now and then. This has been going on for nine years now. Initially, they replied to my emails saying I had received my full settlement but later on they stopped writing to me.

But just recently, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Zahid Iqbal Khan who had signed the “Employment Offer” took the matter in his hands to solve this outstanding issue. I saw a glimpse of hope of getting my money. Some weeks of exchange of communication took place between Zahid and me. I explained everything sending over to him all the relevant documents. There was no explanation needed as the documents showed clearly injustice had taken place.

The CEO of Jascon Engineering, Zahid Iqbal Khan failed to meet his own commitment he had made to me. His commitment was in writing. My money still remains unpaid.

I was very disappointed with the CEO Zahid Iqbal Khan. Zahid is a religious man who offers all his prayers. But when it comes to making a fair and just decision where payment needs to be made, all rules of morals, education and of religion get put to the wind.

Zahid: Your Company has cheated me out of QR8000. I may not get this money from you here but I will hold you responsible on Yom AlQayama (Day of Judgment).
