Company not Giving Exit - Already Submitted Resignation

I have a 2 years contract but currently finished 11 months. I gave my resignation letter to our management with 1 month notice. I am resigning due to some family problem (an emergency) , i need to leave with in one month . He told me that he will not approve my resignation. when  i told i am not ready to renew my RP then they gave me an option to work until my RP expire + 3 months grace period. which will expire with in 30 days + another 3 months grace. total 4 months. but due to the above mentioned emergency i need to leave with in one month.  is there any legal way to leave Qatar with in one month. If the company does not allows me to leave then how is it that I shall take exit on my own.. I dont have any dues outstanding with the company..Expert advice seeked.

 I hope to hear advise from you guys...

As per law before ur rp expire you must exit.

If they are stopping you, you can go labor court , human rights and embassy also. ...before go try with your management softly.

I hope you are not in the top management as for top management employees generally the notice period varies from 3 months to 6 months.

For middle level, as far as I know , it is one month only..

1. Take copies of your contract and the email or official letter of your resignation mentioning the effective date of resignation

2. Go to labour ministry

If you have all the documents , I am sure you will succeed to leave on time.

When Qatar Airways crew want to go home, but aren't able to resign, they tell their supervisor that they have got pregnant. Then they get fired immediately and deported the next day. Maybe you can do something similar - get your boss to fire you, then you'll have to go home. Otherwise he will keep you here for as long as he wants. Even the embassy cannot help you leave without an exit from your sponsor. Only the master can free the slave.

to OP - that is so sad, but we are in the mercy of our employer here. even if your contract says otherwise, still it's in the hands of your employer, if they will allow you to go or not... going to labor is another option - but it will take time. hope and pray that the new law will take effect soon...

What does your contract say about the resignation?

Read your employment contract, there must be a clause about resignation, termination and the notice period and the liabilities etc.
