Asking to those Nurses who might have an idea about Nurse Trainee:
I just had my evaluation from QCHP this week and I was advised to train for a year. The system had an error so QCHP has to mail it to me manually. The potential employer had ask me regarding a Nurse Trainee ID, is there such thing as that?
If so, could you please share a copy of how it looks like or is it similar to that of a temporary license?
Gladly appreciate your responses.
Thank you for your response. I have received the letter for training. Am I able to get a title of a Nurse Trainee or I still have to complete the year then I will get an ID? Is there such thing as that? I feel like I am missing more from the Evaluation result provided. Hope you could help.
Yes. Apply for evaluation for nurse trainee and then once approved, apply for licensing. You will then have a license with Nurse Trainee scope.
Then after a year just apply change of scope from nurse trainee to registered general nurse.
