The final phase of ticket sales for the 2022 World Cup matches in Qatar is still going on. Today August 1 begins the countdown until its end.

To give fans another chance, the International Football Association (FIFA) started selling the last of the World Cup tickets on the first-come, first-served basis on July 6. This sale will last until August 16 at 12:00 noon Doha time. Tickets for the World Cup are directly confirmed to the owners after being chosen and purchased via this link. where you can also find  more details regarding ticket types and categories.

According to FIFA in a statement released at the end of last June, They also disclosed that 1.8 million tickets had been sold prior to the start of the third phase. If demand increased and the supply reduced, this may result in the development of reserve lists.

People from various nations raced to get tickets during the last-minute sales, led by the host nation (Qatar), Canada, England, France, Germany, India, Saudi Arabia, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and America.

Each fan may purchase a maximum of six tickets per match, a total of sixty tickets for the entirety of the tournament, and they may attend more than one match per day. Tickets for individual matches will be offered in all four price categories, with Category 4 tickets being available only to residents of Qatar. Individuals with special needs and those with limited mobility are eligible to get tickets for individuals with special needs during the group stage, as long as they meet the match compatibility requirements.

Who is the Hayya Card applicable for?

Every person attending a FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 game must have a Hayya card (Fan ID), a personalized identification card. On game days, entrance to the stadium requires both a Hayya card (Fan ID) and the appropriate match ticket. The Hayya Card will serve as an entry permission to Qatar for all foreign visitors, regardless of their intended purpose, and will be the exclusive method of entry from 1 November 2022 through 1 January 2023.

In general, all foreign visitors must confirm their stay arrangements after purchasing their tickets in order to enter the State of Qatar and enter the stadiums. Fans from outside Qatar will be able to utilize the digital Hayya card as a visa to enter the nation.

For one-day visitors, a digital Hayya card is required in order to enter the nation without first reserving housing. In order to activate the card, a few prerequisites must be met, such as purchasing match tickets and reserving a flight home.
