Public transport free for Hayya Card holders during FIFA World Cup 2022

Fans during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will soon be able to access public transport for free during the global football tournament. Those with the Hayya to Qatar 2022 application and Hayya Card (Fan ID) holders will be able to access free public transport for even non-match days.

The ticketholders will be able to board the Doha Metro in the Standard and Family class section, Tram services, Tournament bus services, and public bus services from nearly 10 days before the official tournament begins until five days after it ends. The free access is from November 11 till December 23. Ticketholders will just have to show the Hayya 2022 app while boarding buses and metro stations and will no longer need to buy travel metro cards or paper tickets for non-match days.
