According to the UAE government media office, it has been declared that the owners of the Hayya Card will be given a multiple-entry tourist visa to enter UAE. Serving as a mandatory permit, the card is reserved for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 fans, allowing them to make multiple entries in UAE over a period of 90 days.

As per the announcement, Hayya card holders can extend their tourist visas for an additional 90 days as well. The visa fee is reduced to AED 100 which fans only have to pay once to get themselves the multiple-entry tourist visa. However, citizens from visa-exempt countries do not have to follow these rules and can visit and reside in UAE according to the existing procedures.

The following instructions have been provided by the Media Office to attain the new multiple-entry tourist visa:

- Access the ICP Web Portal
- Choose the "Smart Channels" link
- Choose "Public Services" from the main menu
- Select "Hayya Card Holders" Visa from Public Services
- Fill out the application

It was also recently announced that the Hayya Card holders can visit Saudi Arabia for up to 60 days, ten days after the World Cup starts. The Hayya Card is mandatory for everyone planning to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, whether citizen, resident, or tourist. The card will be used as an entry portal in the country during the matches and has added benefits as well, including free match-day travel via the Doha Metro

The visa application for the multiple entry tourist visa starts on November 1.
Further details will be provided.
