Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel revamps its International Friday Brunch at Al Liwan Restaurant with the ultimate culinary spectacle, featuring a clash of cuisines that take guests through an alluring culinary journey around the world.

Curated by Executive Chef Hassan Abdallah and Al Liwan Chef Tutku Goksel, the exquisite buffet offers a plethora of choices blending Oriental, International and the best of Middle Eastern cuisine including Qatari highlights, where the lavish selection of artistic creations are showcased weekly from open kitchens and creative displays that stimulate the senses.

Guests may begin the Friday feast with an array of traditional Oriental mezzes and International bite-sized appetizers, accompanied with freshly-baked artisanal breads and rolls.

The gastronomic adventure continues through a roller-coaster of dishes including traditional Indian favourites, exaggerated over-sized gourmet burgers, Asian dimsum, sushi and tempura delights, a unique homemade quiche selection, tender rotisserie, juicy shawarma and hearty Italian pasta prepared a la minute from the interactive live kitchen.

The seafood ice bed features freshly-shucked oysters, lobster tails and other crustaceans that are paired with a variety of homemade sauces. Guests who enjoy barbequed selections may hand-pick from the display of marinated meat, kebabs, fish and seafood to be custom-grilled to one’s preferences.

For cheese lovers, the brunch is the perfect occasion to sample a variety of French and Swiss cheeses, notably the Cheese Raclette melted from a heated swingarm, enjoyed for its distinctive aroma and creamy texture.

For the perfect sweet ending, guests can explore new offerings from the Lobby Lounge that is transformed into an international patisserie where a decadent spread of contemporary and traditional pies, cakes and mousses await guests.

Executive Pastry Chef Saban Cavlak introduces unique Turkish, Lebanese and Oriental delights, as well as an artisanal Italian gelato and indulgent French crepe live station.
