As a Marine Mechanic, at Al Badi Trading and Contracting Co. Ltd, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine engines, outboard motors, jet skis, and related systems. Your role involves conducting thorough inspections, utilizing diagnostic tools, and performing both routine maintenance and complex repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of marine vehicles. You will also be responsible for replacing defective parts with approval, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and maintaining accurate service records. Additionally, you will contribute to workplace cleanliness and provide recommendations for preventative maintenance and system upgrades. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality service in marine environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Marine Mechanic, you will specialize in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining marine vehicles. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of marine section. Your key duties will include,

1. Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues in engines.

2. Utilize diagnostic tools, computer software and technical manuals to pinpoint problems accurately.

3. Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on marine engines, outboard motors and related systems.

4. Service and repair marine engines, jet skis, transmissions.

5. Replace worn or defective parts and components with new ones by detailed inspection and taking approval from the customer and Supervisor.

6. Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, filter replacements and lubrication of moving parts.

8. Offer recommendations for preventative maintenance and upgrades.

9. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations, particularly in marine environments.

10. Adhere to environmental regulations related to handling of hazardous materials and waste disposal.

11. Maintain the work place neat and clean after each day's work.

12. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used and services performed using computerized systems or manual logs.

13. Perform other relevant duties as and when assigned by Management.
