The Job Description:
1. Effectively Manage a small team of sales, and Merchandisers/sales, and their operations, routs and performance to achieve sales targets and maintain returns below tolerable levels set by the company.
2. Must have well established experience in managing full Cycle of s sales including forecasting required stock, preparing orders of stock from suppliers, distribution into the market and redistribution based on performance.
3. Must have very strong ability, control and understanding of quantity supply in Hypermarket the required quantities (Based on analysis of sales and returns by item and shop) and vigorously monitor Returns and expiry with the team and redistribute those products to Minimize returns and expiry % to company tolerable levels and achieving sales targets and growth.
4. Must have proven record and demonstrate ability to Identify near expiry products in the market in the right time (based on performance), redistribute those items to the right locations in the right time, carry promotion activities to liquidate, and identity products that need action intime.
5. Must demonstrate and develop annual Promotion plan, and execution on this plan from a proactive perspective (not reactive), plan should be detailed including quantities anticipated, cost factored for increase sales and increase awareness of company brands.
The company currently has a growing number of brands, and will be adding additional brands, and is in growth phase. Additional Experience and connection within HORECA segment a plus.

A Growing FMCG/Dry Food distribution company, registered with all Major Hypermarkets is looking for a Head of Sales and Business Development,
The Candidate will have to meet the below minimum requirements:
1. Years of experience in similar position dealing with Major Hypermarkets for not less than 10 years in similar position out of which minimum of 3 most recent years in Qatar.
2. Have solid/Established relationship with Hypermarkets in Qatar.
3. Proven ability to manage Sales team and Business Development efforts, including enrolling new brands/products into registered Hypermarket.
4. Must have very strong analytical capabilities, analyzing sales by item, by shop and group and take actions to improve performance by Item/shop/group level this must be supported by educational background.
