Position: Web Developer 

A reputable rental car company is looking for an experienced web developer to be in charge of the coding, creative design, and layout of its company official website. The primary duties of a web developer include updating and maintaining the company's website and keeping an eye on customer’s feedback/evaluations on its various social media accounts.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services — including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, Apache Server, Cloudfare JS, PHP, Helix, security principles and web user interface and responsive designExperience with Joomla! 
• Experience with API integration
• Proficient in MySQL
• Experience with Git and GitHub is required
• Knowledge of various social media platforms

  Responsibilities

•  Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Creating website layout/user interfaces
• Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Cooperate with UX/UI experts and Software consultants
• Responsible for contacting and finalizing listing of company products at third party websites and apps.
• Ensure that these platforms are up to date with company’s latest listings in terms of available models and continuously updating prices in case of any changes occur.
• Respond to customers reviews on google, third party websites, social media either these reviews are positive or negative.
• Solve online clients concerns and issues in coordination with sales/Services in coordination with concerned departments.
• Work closely with marketing creative team in terms of getting high resolution images, marketing materials and assure these designs/photos match with the third parties’ guidelines.
• Closely monitor company’s ranking on google, brokers and come with solutions to be back to top of the rank.
• Weekly reports on main competitors’ online activities and ranking.
• Forward online inquiries to sales department and follow up on each inquiry/lead if it’s converted into sales and maintain that in a daily report to management.

  Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) in multimedia design, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in web development
• Experience with Wordpress and Photoshop is a plus
• Should be familiar and up-to-date with industry best practices
• Ability to take constructive criticism
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Keen understanding of user experience
• Preferred soft skills include, communication, problem-solving, time management, attention to detail, teamwork, creative thinking and adaptable to change
• Troubleshooting
