Description
Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant Job Summary:The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces. This role ensures a welcoming and comfortable environment by performing cleaning duties efficiently and following established standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:-
Clean and tidy guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and other areas as assigned.

Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities.

Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors regularly.

Replenish supplies such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and coffee supplies.

Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the supervisor.

Follow proper chemical handling and cleaning procedures.

Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.

Respect guests’ privacy and ensure rooms are cleaned according to guest preferences or hotel policy.

Support laundry operations when needed (washing, drying, folding, and storing linens).

Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards.

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial work (hotel experience is a plus).

Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Strong time-management and organizational skills.

Friendly, professional attitude and good communication skills.
