Description
Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:
-
Monitor and maintain accurate records of all aviation parts, materials, and equipment in stock.

Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.

Track and manage the shelf life of aviation parts, ensuring timely replacement or disposal of expired or obsolete items.

Organize parts according to industry standards, ensuring parts are stored in appropriate conditions (e.g., temperature-controlled or humidity-sensitive items).

Parts Receiving and Inspection:

Receive aviation parts and materials from suppliers, ensuring the correct items, quantities, and specifications match the purchase orders.

Inspect parts for damage or discrepancies during delivery. Document and report any issues (e.g., defective parts, incorrect deliveries) to the relevant department or suppliers.

Verify the authenticity and quality of parts according to regulatory standards (e.g., FAA, EASA).
-
Ensure that parts are tagged with serial numbers, batch numbers, and any other necessary identification details for traceability.

Issuing and Distribution of Parts:

Issue parts to the maintenance and repair teams according to their requirements, ensuring parts are accurately matched with work orders and documentation.

Maintain records of issued materials and parts, ensuring traceability for each item.

Ensure timely delivery of parts to the required departments for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Keep detailed records of all material transactions, including receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments.

Maintain proper documentation to comply with aviation industry regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) regarding part traceability, certificates, and part numbers.

Update and maintain the inventory management system with accurate information on stock levels, orders, and issues.

Ensure that all required certifications (e.g., Certificate of Conformance, Airworthiness Certificate) are attached to the parts.

Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous but not always mandatory.
Certification in Aviation Logistics or Aviation Safety (e.g., IATA certification) would be an added advantage.
Familiarity with aviation parts inventory systems and industry standards is essential.
Knowledge of aircraft parts, tools, and materials (e.g., engines, landing gear, avionics) is crucial to ensuring proper storage, handling, and distribution.
Understanding of aviation-specific materials, including part numbers, maintenance schedules, and handling procedures.
