We are currently looking for an E-Library Specialist for our Health Center.
Major Responsibilities:
§ Plan, develop and deliver a structured e-Library portfolio that supports the needs of primary health care staff and services.
§ Research, create and organize content to support health care professional learning needs.
§ Responsible for the effective delivery of e-Library initiatives and for clinical and non-clinical staff.
§ Manage the e-Library service and coordinates the day to day running of e-Library delivery, including handling queries, registration details and database to support staff access to e-Library and uptake of learning.
§ Coordinates the development and layout of appropriate technical infrastructure required to deliver digital learning
§ Develop and deliver an effective communication plan to support online learning, e-Library uptake and progress reporting.
§ Develop and deliver training, workshop and tutorials for targeted staff
§ Evaluate e-Library uptake to determine effectiveness of online learning. Collate usage statistics on all e-Library resources on a regular basis and report progress.
§ Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information through dedicated knowledge management processes that maintains employee data, uptake and achievements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or educational technology or a related stream.
- A certification Logistics/Supply Chain Management or any other relevant field
Experience & Knowledge Requirement
Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing web-based courses and working with learning management systems and e-Library portals
Skills Requirements
- Highly desired technical skills in e-Library platforms, learning management systems and multimedia applications
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience of dealing directly with a wide variety of people.
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Bilingual in Arabic and English language (preference as data sets and management will include interpreting data in both languages, as well as business communications).
