Description

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Officer with 3-5 years of experience in building materials and distribution. The ideal candidate will manage the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials while maintaining quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize sourcing for building materials.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve the best value.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports on spending and supplier performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of procurement experience in building materials supply/ distribution.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction industry standards and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
