Description
The IT Architect will be responsible for understanding the current operational dispatching workflows and designing the requirements for a new system.
The specific duties include, but are not limited to:
1- System Requirements Gathering: Conducting interviews and monitoring operational stakeholders to understand current challenges and inefficiencies.
2- Analyzing existing operational systems and dispatch processes.
3- Identifying key system features that will enhance operational efficiency, such as real-time tracking, optimized dispatching algorithms, and resource allocation.
4- Technical Requirements Definition: Drafting the technical specifications, including software basic architecture, system interfaces, and data requirements.
5- Proposing architecture based on best practices for dispatching systems.
6- Defining scalability, reliability, and performance criteria for the system.
7- Operational Workflow Design: Designing improved operational workflows that leverage the new system.
8- Creating system use cases for different operational scenarios.
9- Documenting process flows and integration points with existing systems.
10- Final Requirement Documentation: Consolidating findings and drafting a comprehensive System Requirements Specification (SRS) document, including functional and non-functional requirements.
11- Presenting the document to management for approval and feedback.
Milestone Description:
1- Milestone 1 (Duration 3 Weeks)
Initial Stakeholder Analysis & Report Conduct interviews with key stakeholders and submit a report summarizing current system inefficiencies, operational needs, and initial requirements.
2- Milestone 2 (Duration 2 Weeks)
Draft System & Operational Requirements Submit the first draft of system and operational requirements, including technical requirements and proposed workflow improvements.
3- Milestone 3 (Duration 3-4 Weeks)
Final Requirement Documentation (SRS) Submit the final System Requirements Specification (SRS) document with feedback incorporated from previous deliverables. & will start working the UI/UX designer to finalize the wireframes which must be presented in milestone 4 for final approval.
4- Milestone 4 (Duration 2-3 days)
Presentation & Final Approval Present the final SRS to management for approval and finalize any outstanding items.
