Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Magento-based e-commerce websites, ensuring they perform efficiently and meet business objectives.
• Customize and extend the Magento platform to suit specific project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Configure and manage Magento modules, extensions, and third-party integrations to enhance the website's functionality.
• Implement responsive web design techniques to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.
• Monitor and optimize site performance, resolving issues related to speed, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and debug code, providing timely resolutions for issues and errors.
• Stay up-to-date with Magento updates, best practices, and emerging trends in e-commerce.
• Ensure the website's SEO optimization, working closely with digital marketing teams.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code to maintain codebase integrity.
• Collaborate with team members on code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior developers if required.
• Maintain version control and code repositories for project tracking and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Magento E-Commerce Developer with a strong portfolio of Magento-based projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Magento 2 and its architecture.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Experience with MySQL and database management.
• Familiarity with web security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

 

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Magento certifications.
