Description

A mid-sized construction company is seeking a skilled Accountant with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in financial reporting, cost accounting, and familiarity with the construction industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 2–4 years of accounting experience (preferably in construction or project-based industries)

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., odoo, or similar)

• Strong understanding of financial statements and cost control

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including journal entries, bank transactions, and general ledger updates
• Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes, including invoice processing, supplier payments, and customer collections
• Prepare and maintain daily financial reports and cash flow tracking
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer accounts regularly
• Ensure accurate documentation and filing of accounting records
• Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Collaborate with the project and procurement teams to ensure proper cost tracking and budget alignment
