We are expanding our team and looking for a dynamic, experienced QC engineer with knowledge of cable tray & steel fabrication to join our team. This position is based in either Qatar or Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Job description & responsibilities:

1. To prepare and submit technical project pre-qualification & submittal along with sample boards as per customer specifications.

2. Incoming Material Inspection:

• Verify the quality of raw materials (e.g., galvanized sheets, fasteners, etc.) upon receipt.
• Ensure materials meet the specifications and standards required for cable tray production.
• Reject non-conforming materials and raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).

3. In-Process Quality Control:

• Monitor manufacturing processes (cutting, punching, bending, welding, etc.) to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections during production.

4. Final Product Inspection:

• Inspect final cable tray products for physical dimensions, finish, burrs, galvanization thickness
• Perform tests such as thickness measurement
• Ensure labeling, packing, and dispatching meet quality standards.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain inspection reports, quality control records, and calibration logs.
• Prepare daily/weekly QC reports and communicate findings for production and management

6. Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure all QC activities comply with ISO 9001, ASTM, IEC, or any other relevant standards for cable trays.
• Support audit processes (internal/external).
• Develop and revise quality procedures and inspection checklists.
