Description
We seek an experienced Van Salesman to deliver and sell FMCG products to customers across Qatar, maintaining existing relationships and expanding our customer base.
· Responsible for interacting with Customers for Sales, Distribution, Merchandising, stock rotation cash collection and establish good relationship with Customer.
· Deliver and sell FMCG products to existing and new customers using a company van or truck.
· Provides direct supervision to Truck Helpers / delivery assistants.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
· Ensure products are properly stocked and displayed at customer locations.
· Achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
· Manage payments, issue invoices, and ensure timely collections from customers.
· Monitor inventory and report stock levels.
· Identify new sales opportunities and expand the customer base.
· Report sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends to the sales manager.
· Ensure the van or truck is well-maintained and follow safe driving practices.
· Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
· Follow routes and time schedule.
· Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
· Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
· Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to meet sales targets and handle multiple customers daily
- Good driving skills with a valid Qatar or GCC light vehicle driving license
- Ability to work independently, managing time and routes effectively
- Medium Qatari Driving license is a must
