Description
I worked as an electrical Supervisor and electrical foreman, I did overseas electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work within a facility or project. They ensure that all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently while adhering to industry standards and regulations. I manage a team of electricians and technicians, coordinating their activities to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
My Key and Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
- I supervise and lead a team of electricians and technicians.
- I assign tasks based on skill levels and project requirements.
- I conduct training sessions to enhance team skills.
2. Project Oversight:
- I Plan, schedule, and oversee electrical projects from inception to completion.
-I ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- I monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
3. Quality Control:
- I inspect work performed by the team for quality assurance.
- I ensure that all installations meet technical specifications and safety standards.
- I address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
4. Maintenance Management:
- I develop preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems.
- I troubleshoot electrical issues on time to minimize downtime.
- I maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
5. Collaboration:
- I work closely with other departments (mechanical, civil, subcontractors and suppliers …) to coordinate efforts on multi-disciplinary projects.
- I liaise with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies as needed.
6. Documentation:
- I prepare reports on project status, budget adherence, and resource allocation.
- I maintain documentation related to electrical systems, including schematics and manuals.
7. Safety Compliance:
- I promote a safety culture within the team by enforcing safety protocols.
- I conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes (e.g., NEC), and safety regulations.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
