I have Five years Accounts experience in Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates and where I have previously worked as an Accountant at Louzan Group in UAE and Accountant cum in-charge of Payable and Receivable at Maliban Traders (Pvt) Limited and as an Auditor at ‘Deen & Company- Chartered Accountants in Sri Lanka where I have been able to demonstrate exceptional skills.
I have been excelling during my stays above, especially in the following areas,
- Planning and coordinating with the audit manager, staff, and client to establish the audit strategy for team-based audit execution.
- Assisting Senior Accountant in the preparation and presentation of financial statements, by International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Executing Basic financial processes, including vendor setup and payment, operational expenses entries, administration of bank accounts and account reconciliations.
- Posting accurate records for all daily transactions in the accounting system.
- Monitoring all banking activities and preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Handling, reviewing & posting of petty cash of the company.
-Communicating with customers & suppliers for the payments & receivables.
In addition to my experience and personal skills, I have a solid educational background with myself having a qualification of Association of Accounting Technicians – Sri Lanka and Starting Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
