Description

We are currently looking to recruit experienced Marine Technician for Honda/Yanmar Marine Workshop.  
The primary focus of the role will be to achieve or exceed given levels of customer satisfaction and sales figures in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The main duties within the role include the following:

- Conduct Servicing and Maintenance:
  To Conduct routine Servicing and maintenance of Honda and Yanmar Marine engines both outboard and inboard. Also to maintain and service Power products for both Honda and Yanmar products. 
- Technical Background:
  The candidate should have a capable technical background to assist with the maintenance and repair of both Honda and Yanmar products. 
- Product Knowledge:
  Collating available information to ensure up-to-date knowledge of the product in order to keep aware of model or technical changes. 
- Customer Relations:
  Should be able to develop and build a strong working relationship with the key contacts in the Marine business. 
- Customer Visits:
The candidate must possess the customer facing skills part of the role is to visit our existing and potential new clients off site.

 

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Essential to have 3 years’ experience in a similar position preferably from a reputed company or marine dealership
- Excellent communication and customer handling skills
- Good command of the English language and Arabic is preferable
- Numeracy and computer operations skills
- Well-groomed and presentable
- Self-motivated, reliable and confident
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
