Job Title: HSE officer
Location: Doha, Qatar

JOB PURPOSE:
To support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor workplace activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies and legal requirements.
Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify risks, hazards, and unsafe practices.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and suggest corrective actions.
Deliver HSE inductions, awareness sessions, and training to staff and contractors.
Participate in risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSA).
Assist in the development of safety procedures and emergency response plans.
Maintain HSE documentation, permits, and records.
Promote a strong safety culture through active engagement with workers and management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.
NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate
Knowledge of local HSE laws and international standards (ISO 14001).
