AREAS OF EXPERTISE

 

Project Surveys

 

     Overseeing, reviewing and certifying land surveys. Monitoring the survey of the foundations, piping, equipment and machine foundations.

     Supervising the process of establishing and marking position and detailed layout of new structures such as roads, bridges or buildings for subsequent construction.

     Rendering services such as mapping and related data accumulation, construction layout surveys, precision measurements of length, angle, elevation, area, and volume, as well as horizontal and vertical control surveys, and the analysis and utilization of land survey data.

     Managing the maintenance of survey party vehicles, tools, and equipment.

     Reviewing and approving legal descriptions for land acquisition to ensure completeness and accuracy.

     Filing appropriate documents and right-of-way plans with local authorities.

 

Project Planning

 

     Conceptualizingdetailed project reports and project execution plans after thorough discussion with clients with selection of sites.

     Coordinating for establishing time span of project execution as per client specifics.

     Monitoring project status during the course of periodic project review meetings.

 Coordination

 

     Supervising administrative, professional and technical employees involved in conducting land surveys.

     Consulting with client departments to determine needs, recommend services and recommend the most effective ways to provide services.

     Networking with consultants, contractors, clients to ascertain technical specifications as per prevalent rules.

      Maintaining business relationships with statutory authorities for availing mandatory sanctions.

 

Responsibilities

 

     Review of shop drawings and ensure its compliance with Construction Contract requirements and properly coordinated with other disciplines.

     Closely monitor Site activities to ensure quality of survey work done is in compliance with Construction contract requirements, good construction practice, compliance with shop drawings, and report to Senior Structural Engineer/Senior Marine Supervisor.

     Review of Method Statements QCPs and ITPs for surveying works as submitted by Contractors and ensure its compliance with Construction Contract requirements.

      Review and comment on formwork/shuttering systems and ensure quality, safety and constructability aspects are met with the requirements.

     Familiar with equipment’s required to be used for field survey works.

     AdvisePMC Quality and Safety Engineers as well as Project Manager for noticed noncompliance of surveying works during site visits.

     Attend Technical Meetings with Contractor if required by Project Manager.

      Review of shop/construction drawings with the other discipline engineers as submitted by Contractors.

      Endure that adequate forms are established by Contractor to serve as “Survey Reports” and that these are effectively and adequately used in survey inspection.
