Supervisor
a.Able to converse courteously in English. The ability to speak Arabic is an added advantage.
b.Able to lead and inspire a team of Operators in managing the Toll Booths and Barriers System
c.Manage the day-to-day booth operations but not limited to the following:
-Supervise Booth Operators to secure entry and exit gates
-Communicate with Booth Operators through radio and/or telephone
-Coordinate Operator’s break time
-Maintain a lot of problems and incidents during shift
-Monitor ticket consumption of each booth
-Reconcile cash proceeds and total numbers of transactions from Booth Operators
d.Collect daily parking proceeds, verify & certify the total transaction collected for the day; and deposit it into designated bank account.
e.Submit daily Total Parking Transaction Report and Deposit Slip to Finance Department.
f.Monitor the serviceability of the Toll Booths and Barriers System; and to be able to revert the system to manual mode, if system malfunctions; and alert the Maintenance Contractor Thru Helpdesk.
g.Prepare the Daily Operations Report during the period of duty and submit it to
h.Determine and take the appropriate actions required in response to any breach of security incident(s) or accident(s), including liaises with onsite personnel and relevant parties.
i.Carry out proper briefing and handing over of duties to the next shift.
Toll Booth Operator
a.Able to converse courteously in English. The ability to speak Arabic is an added advantage.
b.Carry out day-to-day operations of the assigned Toll Booths including but not limited to;
- Explain tariff rates to customers in courteous manner.
- Secure entry and exit gates
- Collect tolls according to tariff rates using cash
- Reconcile cash proceeds and handovers to the Supervisor at the end of each shift.
- Maintain and account for the cash float of the Booth cash box.
- Highlight any discrepancies to Shift Supervisor.
- Direct traffic during events, emergencies or accidents etc.
c.Carry out serviceability and functionality tests before the commencement of each shift duty.
d.Carry out cash transactions and ensure that the parking process is accounted for and handed over to the Supervisor at the end of each shift.
e.Monitor the serviceability of the assigned Toll Booth and to be able to revert the system to manual mode, if the system malfunctions; and, to report any defects immediately to the supervisor.
f.Report to Supervisor for any breach of security incident(s) and accident(s), including taking appropriate action to ensure smooth flow of traffic at the assigned Toll Booth.
Control Room Operator
a.Able to converse courteously in English. The ability to speak Arabic is an added advantage.
b.Carry out day-to-day operations at the Control Room including but not limited to operating the Parking Management System Workstation and ANPR Cameras Workstation.
c.Monitor the ANPR Camera Workstation, if there is any abnormality and report to the Supervisor for immediate follow-up action.
d.Maintain communication with Toll Booth Operators to secure entries and exit centrally.
e.Assist the Supervisor in monitoring the daily OCCURRENCE of the Toll Booths operations and update in the Daily Occurrence Report.
f.Assist the Supervisor in monitoring the serviceability of the Toll Booths and Barriers System.
g.Able to perform the job of a Toll Booth Operator if necessary.
h.Any other duties as assigned.
