Description

I am an ACCA finalist ( currently also persuing my BSc in applied accounting) and an External Auditor with over three years of experience at KPMG, working across banking, manufacturing, retail, Real estate, FMCG and service sector clients. My responsibilities included reviewing financial statements, validating ledger balances, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.

Through my audit work, I have gained a strong understanding of how accounting functions operate internally. I have closely interacted with finance teams during audits, which helped me develop practical knowledge of daily accounting processes, reporting cycles, and documentation flow. This exposure enables me to confidently transition into an Industry Accounting role such as Accountant, Finance Executive, or Financial Analyst.

At the same time, my experience in identifying control weaknesses, assessing process risks, recommending improvements and Liasing with client internal audit teams makes me well suited for Internal Audit positions.
