Description

Irrigation work seeing map doing work of cabling and Irrigation 

Technicians install, test, and maintain irrigation equipment including 

sprinklers, pumps, water lines, and suction valves. Irrigation Technicians may 

also be required to operate heavy machinery for trenching and install wiring 

systems for water timers.

JOB PURPOSE: Performs installation, maintenance, and repair 

of irrigation systems. 

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates power equipment 

and hand tools to install, maintain and repair irrigation system and related

components. Including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, control panels, 

valves, pumps, etc.
