I am writing to express my interest in the Light Driver position at your esteemed
organization. With over 7 years of driving experience, including roles in Qatar and Sri
Lanka, I am confident that my skills and dedication to safe, efficient driving make me a
valuable candidate for this role.
I began my career as a Light Driver with Alfardan Premium Motors in Doha, Qatar,
where I worked from July 2016 to May 2023. During my time there, I was responsible for
delivering new vehicles, including high-end brands such as BMW, Range Rover, RollsRoyce, Ferrari, and Aston Martin, to showrooms. In addition to transporting vehicles, I
ensured vehicle safety, performed regular checks, and delivered prompt, professional
service. I consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism, exceptional driving
skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Prior to this, I gained valuable team leadership experience as a Team Leader at Cargills
Food City in Sri Lanka from 2014 to 2015. This role helped me develop strong
organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of responsibility when managing a
team. My leadership experience further reinforced my ability to communicate
effectively, solve problems, and work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
Most recently, I worked as a Light Driver with a private sector company in Sri Lanka from
2023 to 2024, where I was entrusted with the safe transportation of goods and
passengers. I ensured timely arrivals, well-maintained vehicles, and compliance with
road safety regulations.
