Job Summary: A Computer Technician or IT Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software components of the organization’s computers. They support these systems through remote access or site visits as needed by management teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Hardware Installation and Maintenance: - Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications. - Replace parts as required and upgrade systems to ensure they are compatible with the latest software. 2. Software Installation and Troubleshooting: - Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications. - Diagnose and repair software issues and ensure systems are running efficiently. 3. Network Support: - Set up and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other networking systems. - Maintain and troubleshoot network hardware and connectivity issues. 4.
