Assistance With Relocation!

By linus74

I have the chance to relocate to Doha in the next couple of months but having read various posts i'm a little un-nerved by some!

What would be considered a good salary in the area (i am hoping to come to the Al Dana Helath Club as a manager), and how much should i take into consideration for a good apartment - bearing in mind i want a good location where a single girl feels safe!

Is there some sort of formula for working out a salary compared to what i currently receive in the UK?!

I would also appreciate any information on the above health club if anyone has been.

I appreciate your time in reading this and look forward to your replies.

Thank you
Caroline

Hey Caroline,

I think deciding on the amount you should get paid depends on the whole package deal.

I haven't been to Dana club but if it's in a hotel then most probably they will provide you with accomodation which i think will be the best for you as it provides you with the safety you need and also you won't have to suffer the transportation problem most new commers face when they arrive.

If they don't provide you with accomodation then you will have to search for something that suits your salary and this is not an easy thing to do here as most decent accomodations range between Qr 4,000-6,000 you can still get a smaller place like a studio which of course will cost less than 4,000
