Electrical Outlet Help!
Hi,
I am soon moving from the United States to Qatar and am getting a little lost in what I need to get as far as electrical outlet adapters.
Through internet searching I've found that the US operates on 110V while Qatar operates using 220V. Different places have shown differnt plugs to be used, though.
Are the plugs used the three-pronged flat ones (British-style) or the round ones? And what should I be looking to get: voltage converter, step-down transformer, plug adapters, etc.
I'd appreciate any input, thanks!!

you will find here everythig for power supply : outlet adaptors , converters (bdw , laptop power supply are universal, as the most of new appliances - I mean is working at 110-220 v .)
Don't stress to much with this .
Avoid bringing in many electrical appliances as the voltage and frequecy is different in Qatar (220 Volts, 50 Hertz). However, the local shops sell many types of voltage convertors (220 to 110).
Mostly elec. outlets are three-pronged flat ones, Its best you dont bring too much of electrical appliances. I was using a laptop which I bought from states and I normally use an adapter or converter of some sort
From what I've seen, the holes in the wall need the British-style three-pronged flat ones (but i haven't been around much so maybe it's only in my flat) and yes, 220v. but other than that i'm not sure what you should do about the voltage. Sorry couldn't be of more help.
