why like this ?
We know that Qatar is a developed country, we also know that English is international language which is use in all over the world.
when i look in our ID card in that time i am confuse because our ID number is in English, name, date of birth, expire date, nationality, serial no also in English but Occupation and employer is in Arabic. why ?
the card holder how he/she know what is his/her Occupation in ID Card ?
after that if there any problem, then how he/she solve those any kind of legal problem ?
is this good or right for any developed country >
Hey Guys, let us be a little more soft on the guy.
Being harsh would only scare him off QL. Being nice wouldn't kill anyone. Atleast not on QL !!
As the previous guy siad, the Qatar ID is more impotent for government departments like police, CID, and all.Of course, like all country Qatar will use the national language for their departmental purposes. You can found the profession in english in your employment contract, which you signed before getting the RP. You should read the contract before you signing the same.
Go complain about service in your country, not in others'. That is Arabic, it is not important for your, because it is not for you, it is for the government bodies who will check your ID to know your details. The policeman needs to read the ID in Arabic not in English, so as somebody says: take it, if you don t like it, just be brave enough & leave it.
Qatar has its own set of RULES..
Either you take it or leave it...:)
naahhh the dont even have a working postal system,. or plumbing water on pressure,..or a gas grid etc......
9 out of 10 times your occupation on legal docs is different then your real day job,. just for visa clearance issues,.
I agree with you.
Reason: My friend, who is a Business Development Manager for a reputed food outlet in Qatar, found out that his profession on the ID card is mentioned "Supervisor" in Arabic.
Good News: His company agreed to change it for him provided he has support documents for his request.
To Each Their Own.
