Coming to Qatar

By iceam

Hi

I arrive in Qatar on 18th March (coming from the UK) to commence a long term contract. I would appreciate it if anyone can recommend where to rent and who to contact. In addition any tips on where to shop, eat and go would be helpful aswell

Kind regards and thanks

Hi Ice ... when you arrived in Doha ... try to get Marhaba book. You can get it in Jarir Book store down in Salwa Road, i think it is cost 20 QR. That book kind like 'Dubai Explorer' Qatar version. It got everything. Doha latest map ... eateries places ... school list ... embassies ... house agents ... things to do or activities. Also try to get happening book of the month. Those 2 books should guide you around Doha with no problem

Any other question just ask away.
