Beach for swimming around Doha

By Sesamelmo

Is there any beach around Doha where we can swim? Not just walking in the shallow water? where Europeans are welcome.

I wouldnt go to Katara its a rip off and they have a 12ft sign of rules. Which is probably why no one ever goes on the beach there

If you're prepared to pay, Katara and most 5 star hotels have a private beach. Otherwise you'll need to travel to Fuwairit in the north (about 100kms) or Zekriet in the west (about 60km's). I believe there's also a beach in Al Wakrah (about 10kms past the airport)
