Hello forum members! Planning a trip to Qatar for the Qatar Grand Prix with my spouse and 7-year-old son. Looking for tips from those who've attended the race. Share your experiences, including accommodation recommendations, visa advice, transportation tips, and any insights on enjoying the race with a family. Also, interested in any local attractions you explored beyond the Grand Prix. Any advice on cultural aspects, language, and COVID-19 travel guidelines would be appreciated. Excited for the trip and eager to gather insights from the community! Thanks in advance.

We are from the US but we are going for a trip to UAE for about 6 weeks in November and December this year and this is one of the things we are going to do during our trip. I have found some resources on the internet with some useful information like the following ones:

However, I am looking for some personal experiences of people who’ve attended the Qatar GP in the past.

Hey Qaahir, I hope you're looking forward to a wonderful trip with your family. Regarding the Qatar Grand Prix, besides the excitement of the race itself, there are plenty of activities waiting for you & family behind the grandstand. Just like last year, there will likely be live concerts featuring world-renowned singers. Behind the grandstand, you'll find an array of activities including games, restaurants, various merchants, concerts, a traditional tent offering refreshments, and more.

I'm sharing from my personal experience, even though I attended alone, rest assured, you and your family will have a great time together. As we say, Qatar is the perfect destination for family enjoyment without any hesitation.

Besides the Grand Prix, there are numerous other places worth visiting during your stay. I believe there will be plenty of activities taking place in different areas. With Qatar's National Day celebrations happening in December, you're sure to experience a wealth of enjoyable activities.

Do let me know if you require any other information
