Qatar’s Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani Museum is one of the largest private museums in the world. It houses over 15,000 artifacts – including vintage cars, rare fossils, and valuable Islamic art.

 

It is an invaluable resource for those who want to learn more about Islamic civilization and Qatari heritage. 

The Sheikh Faisal museum is located along Dukhan highway. Entrance is free!

I was there 2 weeks ago, BRILLIANT museum, you can easily spend over 2 hours there without noticing, the collection varies a lot which makes it easily the best museum I've ever been to. Only thing I want to point out from this article is that the entrance is for a very small fee, but not free.
