What is the process?

Go to Ministry of labor at C ring road, tell at reception u r applying for labor card, take token n go to hall no.4. Give the papers they will give you clearance n paper to go to get police clearance.

Now head to Police investigation department at Salwa road which is approx 22-24 minutes straight drive from Ministry of labor.

Take token go to women section n they will give you blue receipt n will charge you 10 Qrs. You will be directed for finger printing section too. There your pic n finger orints will be recorded n scanned.

Go back same place after 4 days with this blue receipt n you will get the clearance certificate.

20 Qrs you will pay at MOFA for your PCC attestation. Show them all of your documents.

Everybody in the process from government is overloaded with work n crowd.Try to get all papers in hand.

They dont accept only cards no cash.

At MOFA they will guide you inside a walled locality n u will be in bus to reach the MOFA.The moment you ride on tell the driver you need to go Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He will drop you. Than wait for bus n he will pick u back. Free of cost.

If you are paying yourself for labor card than submit main education certificates to reduce the translation charges. It will help the officers working in Ministry too. As they are already working very hard to help people.

Everything is very very smooth n strict. They follow the rukes n expect you to do same.

Good luck.

My pleasures. I was totally devastated as I went without translated certificates n attested PCC so that time I promised to write it in QL to help others becoz lot many women are not aware of the regulations which are actually big help for them.

At MOFA they provide free ride in great buses to reach the Ministry gate. Receptionist urge u to sit inside n wait for bus when ur attestion work is completed. Never saw such humanity in any country from government officials. They really care for ladies.

This is a very, very good advice. If you want to know something go to the department. Or ask on QL and get confusing answers. The choice, as always, is yours.

That I have no idea. You need to check in Ministry of labor. Even the persons at reception can help you a lot. Very good thing that every official knows everything every single process.Just visit them and ask.

What if you want to change from one employer to other employer? and you are under father/husband sponsorship.

Are there any additional documents required?
