I heard the quickest way to bring you wife to Qatar for short stay is the Qatar Airways visa.

Can someone please explain the procedure in applying for one and where.

Thanks

You get a Qatar Airways visa froms from various typing centres. All you have to do is fill it up,attach your & your wifes passport copy together with it and submit it.You have to submit it at the airport immigration.First the officer will approve it and then you have to take it to the counter and submit it.Qrs:100.00 will be charged for the first 14 days. You will be able to extend it for another 14 days again afterwards.I think it is Qrs:50.00 or Qrs:100.00 thats it.They dont except cash over there. So be sure to have a credit card or an e-card.e-card can be purchased from there itself if you dont have one. They will give you a receipt which tells you to check after 3 days. But normally the visa gets approved and ready to print in couple of hours on the same day.You may print the visa online. http://www.moi.gov.qa/site/english/index.html

Visa Application Tracking.Just type the visa number there and when approved you may take the print.Dont forget to select the Visa Type as: Visit. This is considered to be a tourist visit visa.Good Luck to you dear.

A Qatar Airways visa allows visitors to Qatar to request a visitor visa while on a Qatar Airways flight. Check out website www.gove.qa which has some useful information.

your wife can come on Qatar air visa which they give first for 14 days and after 14 days they can give you more 14days after paying some amount,in this visa there is no need for hotel booking, you can said that you have accomodation for this so they can give you visa easily with their airways ticket,so no problem, just go and apply for your wife's visa.Good luck

As far as I know only Qatar Airways Holidays will issue a visa, and you must book a hotel with them for them to do so.

If you wife is coming for less then a month, you can get a visitor visa. I think your company needs to apply for you (even though it'll come under your name) - at least that is what I did when my husband came.

But if you are going to sponsor your wife, then the visa is a little different - again, your company should help you with that.

Speak to your HR department.
