My Latest Read: The Testament
By who.am.i on Wed, 03/12/2008 - 9:16pmBook Review: The Testament by Eric Van Lustbader
Of the many thrillers I've read, never in my life have I encountered such a book. A very well written novel, an outstanding style of plot elements, a magnificent dialogue, and, the best of all, the non-fictional plot encoded in the book. Eric Van Lustbader has definitely proven that he is one of the most remarkable writers of thriller. Every since I've finished reading all of Dan Brown's current novels, I'd had a difficult time searching for an author of thriller that can match Brown's writings; it's wonderful to say that I'd succeeded.
Happy reading to soon-to-be fans of the book.

By Jut on Fri, 07/11/2008 - 5:10amHi guys,
I've just finished ploughing my way through...
Trick or Treatment? Alternative Medicine On Trial by Simon Singh and Edzard Ernst
and
Irrationality by Stuart Sutherland
I'm looking for non fiction, science (medicine, psychology, evolutionary biology, quackery etc...)
Also if anyone knows a good bookstore with a science section please let me know! I only know Virgin in Villagio and apparently their bookshop is from a time before the Age of Enlightenment.
